2017 Information

Camp activities will run Monday-Friday 9-4pm
Extended care is available 7:45-9am (4-H Building/Log Cabin near Community Center)
Extended care is also available from 4-5:15pm (pick up  from the play ground near the community center or log cabin during inclement weather.)
Cost: $35/Day,  Ages: 5-12 yrs

Free Breakfast and Lunch at Summer Camp in 2017

The Y is collaborating with the ISD 166 School lunch program to provide breakfast and lunches to all campers this summer. Campers will have breakfast at 9:00am and lunch at 12:00pm through this program. The meals are free and open to all youth ages 18 and younger in the community. Sign-up the week before to make the counts accurate by calling the Y. Youth don’t have to be part of summer camp to receive the free meals.

Summer Camp Registration

Families must complete the Summer Kids Camp Questionnaire 2017 prior to registering at the Y desk for the first summer camp dates. Families can also choose to register online by clicking the Program Registration button on this page and follow the directions in the FAQ section.

Daily Schedule & Field Trip ScheduleField Trip Schedule
7:45-9:00 Sign-in and Extended care. Locations: 4H building. Several center activities are available for children to choose from as they are waiting for everyone to arrive.
9:00-9:30 Morning Meeting & Snack.
9:30-12:00 Morning Activities (Mondays: Outdoor survival skills, outdoor cooking, hiking, games, and skipping rocks at the campground; Tuesdays: Gardening with the master gardeners; Wednesday: Archery and school playground, Thursday: Typical field trip day; Friday: Nature games, hikes, crafts, and activities)
12:00-1:00 Lunch and turtle time (quiet activities, journals, reading, crafts, board games, etc)
1:00-3:00 Choice Time: Open Gym/Open Swim
3:00-4:00 All camp game
4:00-5:15 Pick-up at community center playground

Make sure to arrive by 8:45am on field trip days to get loaded on the bus before 9:00am when the bus departs for the day.
